At Knapsack Cargo, our combined transport services are consistently designed to link road, rail and water. In addition to the transshipment of all industrial and consumer goods, one focus is on the handling of ADR containers. Due to our location in the middle of the Knapsack Chemical Park and our storage facilities for containers loaded with hazardous materials, our customers benefit in particular from our extensive experience in the safe handling of chemical shipments.
From the chemical park to the world
Our container terminal is directly connected to the logistics hubs of the region: Deutsche Bahn’s terminals in Cologne-Eifeltor and the largest trimodal container terminal along the Rhine operated by CTS Container Service GmbH in the port of Cologne-Niehl. The port is linked by rail to the Knapsack Cargo terminal during weekdays. From the CTS terminal, daily connections to the western and northern ports are available via rail or ship. Further connections to the south and east are also available.
